Artist Statement


I love capturing the movement of water in its natural environment settings through photography.
I am drawn to the beauty of its many forms, its fluidity and the ability to change itself and its surroundings.

During the sunset and sunrise hours, I capture these images using special techniques that create an artistic and picturesque setting.

This method creates a mood and ambiance to helps portray the fleeting interaction of water and light in accompanying motion.




Artist Bio

Seoho Oh is a seascapes photographer primarily focusing on capturing the beauty of the western Pacific coast.
He was born in South Korea and studied Art & Photography since his high school years.
Following his passion, he majored in Fine Arts at Chung-Ang University and after immigrating to the United States in 1982, he continued his education at the School of Visual Arts and The Germain School of Photography in New York City. During this period, he specialized in people and portrait photography.

He moved from New York to California in 2007. It was this pivotal change that shifted his work's focus and attention toward scenic and nature photography.
He is dedicated to capturing the images of moving water flows.
His photography has been displayed at several exhibitions and publications.
